TRA81 Ltd was founded in November 2021 by Managing Director, James Altman, in order to align the social housing and the private rental market after recognising the urgent need for cohesion between the two sectors.
Our company was established as a bridge to deliver top-quality accommodation solutions for vulnerable people, whilst also delivering beneficial solutions for private landlords and supporting social housing providers with additional housing stock. Having strong foundations in both sectors, we aim to meet the growing demand for housing.
With James having five years of dedicated experience in social housing and over 21 years in the broader housing market, our team brings a collective 50+ years of expertise in housing and property markets and project management. Based in Hertfordshire, with micro-offices in Northampton and Greenwich, we predominantly serve Greater London and the Southeast, and are rapidly expanding our reach across the east and northeast of England.
As a preferred supplier of social housing and proprietary management for national and local government charities and other non-profit organisations, we are proud to be an affiliated member of “Setting the Standard,” an emergency accommodation ombudsman for approved government suppliers. Our primary motivation is to ensure every individual has a home, be it temporary or emergency housing. We are a driving force in changing the paradigm in this sector.
